A pop-up Socially Conscious Showcase aims to introduce more sustainability into your lives, through eco fashion, beauty products and lifestyle advice.
This stylish and fashionable showcase will connect Perth shoppers to a curated selection of progressive forward-thinking brands, that are making a positive impact on the the future of our earth.
Shining light towards positive social and environmental change, and away from negativity like climate change contention, social injustices and the harm of our greatest natural wonders.
The Socially Conscious Showcase is being held at Little Space in Fremantle, starting with 3 days of wholesale showings to retail outlets, and then running a 2 day retail pop-up shop over the weekend of 14th and 15th of July.
Presented by The Requisite (a social hub for everything ethical, sustainable and charitable) with a growing focus on events, the showcase is not only raising awareness for these brands, but also making sustainable products more accessible to Perth shoppers.
The Handshake Creative’s noteworthy brands on show are:
Alexandra King: Women’s fashion label to exude your inner confidence. She maintains the idea that designs should not only be wearable but offer a high libel of craftsmanship and service. The hand made process means Miss King can only produce a limited number of dresses each other, making the garments a limited edition piece.
Outland Denim: Men’s and Women’s jeans that you can change the world with. CEO James Bartle ensures every single pair purchased contributes to the company’s goal of stopping human trafficking and improving the lives of young Cambodian girls who are targeted by traffickers and forced into the sex trade.
Nelumbo Artisan Skincare: Nelumbo Nucifera is the botanical name for sacred lotus. Their range of plant based skin and hair care products carefully source ethical and organic ingredients; meaning they are palm-free and free from all sulphates, PEG’s, silicones, artificial fragrances and parabens.
Zefyr Jewels: Ethically sourced metal from factory offcuts and scraps are combined with natural crystals hand cut by artisans in Jaipur, India, to create handmade women’s jewellery that are kind to the earth and your body.
Second Nature Botanicals: Sustainable glass containers are used instead of plastics, and filled with eco-friendly, non-toxic household cleaning products which will make you excited to clean and put you on your path to a more natural and green home.
